Written by Ollie Hennessy and Don O' Connor, the show has received rave reviews from all corners.
This story of love, hope, despair and loss follows the tale of young Irish couple Willie and Eileen, forced to separate as Willie enlists to fight on the Western Front. A young German boy Heinrich, falsifies his true age in order to fight under the German flag, while an embittered British officer prepares to lead his troops against his enemy in the trenches of Northern France.

Rebecca Storm at The Civic Theatre for One Night Only!

With numerous concerts, radio & TV appearances around the world, Rebecca enjoys a busy and varied career and after many years in London’s West End theatre world, Rebecca has now made Ireland her home and is more than thrilled with the honour of having her handprints set on the famous ‘Gaiety Theatre Walk of Fame’. Rebecca was delighted to return to her Yorkshire roots in 2018 to play Chris in the musical ‘Calendar Girls’, written by Gary Barlow & Tim Firth, playing to over 200,000 people in the UK & Ireland.
In February 2023 Rebecca returned to the iconic role of Mrs. Johnstone, marking a thirty nine year association with Blood Brothers. 2023 also marked her fifty year career anniversary. Rebecca looks forward to returning to the Civic Theatre FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY.
